HR Audit
Your contracts, policies and everyday people practice checked, with a clear plan to fix the gaps, most important first.
from£1,250
What you get
- Your contracts and offer letters reviewed
- Your handbook and policies checked, including against the Employment Rights Act
- How you hire, manage, pay and look after people, looked at in practice
- Your employee records and right to work checks reviewed
- A written report of every gap, ranked by what to fix first
- A call to walk you and your leadership team through it
Is this for you?
- You’ve grown fast, and HR has grown up around you without a plan.
- Your contracts and handbook were written a few years ago, and nobody has looked at them since.
- You know the Employment Rights Act affects you, but not how.
- Your managers make decisions about people without a process to follow.
- You’d rather find the gaps now than find out the hard way.
- You want a clear list of what to do, in order, not a pile of guidance.
How it works
Step 1: Intro call
20 minutes, free. You tell me what’s going on, and I tell you what I’d do.
Step 2: Review
I go through your contracts, policies and processes, and talk to the people who use them.
Step 3: Report
You get a written report with every gap, ranked by what to fix first.
Step 4: Fix
I can make the changes with you, or hand the plan to your team.
Common questions
What does the audit cost?
It starts at £1,250. I’ll give you a fixed price after the intro call, once I know how big your team is and how many contracts and policies there are.
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of your business. You’ll get a timescale with the price.
Does it cover the Employment Rights Act?
Yes. I check your contracts, policies and processes against it, as one part of the audit.
Do you work with our employment lawyer?
Yes, happily. I look at how things work in practice, and I’ll flag anything that needs a legal opinion.
Can you help us make the changes?
Yes. I can make them with you as a project at my day rate of £750, or as part of a monthly support agreement.
